| How do I order things from PCUK? |
| PCUK is similar to other online shopping sites in that before you
can shop with us you need to register an account. Once you have an
account with us, all the shopping features become available to you,
although you can still browse and search the product catalogue
without registering. |
| How do I register for an account with PCUK? |
| Go to the registration page and fill out all your details, making sure that
all the information is correct, because you will be contacted by a
member of our staff and given an authorisation code to activate your
account. Once your account is activated, you should be able to log
on and start shopping! |
| What is account activation and why do I need to do it? |
| When you register an account, it does not become active straight
away: first we need to contact you by phone. This is partly as an added
security measure, but also it lets us confirm your contact details and
your preferred payment method. Once we have this extra information, we
will give you the account activation code you need to start shopping. |
| What's the difference between the various types of cartridge available? |
| For most of our products, we sell equivalent products made by other
manufacturers which are often as good as the "real thing", with the advantage
that they are usually cheaper. For more information about this topic, see our
cartridge type page. |

| Our pages require that you have cookies enabled for you to use them.
In most browsers, this can be checked in the menu option under the
heading of "privacy" or "security". To view the page as it was designed,
we suggest you enable Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The
site is designed for use with version 5+ browsers (IE5+, Netscape 6+,
Opera 5+) in resolutions of 800x600 and above. If when you try to log
in you receieve a message to try again after a certain amount of time,
this is part of a security measure to protect your account from
unauthorised use. It usually signifies you are trying to access your
account from more than one computer at a time, (which we do not allow for
security reasons), or that your account was not properly logged out after
the last time it was accessed. To prevent seeing this message, always
logout completely (by clicking on "logout" in the left hand menu) after
using our site.
